Tip #1 Always use the Parts from the KYB box. Especially the stud nut.

Tip #2 Don’t use anything on the polished shaft to hold it from spinning

Tip #3 Don’t guess… Over or under-tightening is inviting a come-back

Tip #4 Look at the old, pay attention to the new. Again, a potential comeback: bushings or washers that have a top side, bottom side or get omitted

Tip #5 Always put marks on the mount, spring and spring seat BEFORE you disassemble it

Tip #6 The mount may look good but becomes dense/harder over time and will likely transmit more noise, vibration and a comeback
