These tips are intended to help you better understand our warranty policies and procedures. They are not intended to supersede the KYB Limited Lifetime Warranty which can be found here.
- It is critical that you keep your original receipt. Without it your warranty claim will not be honored.
- If you have to make a warranty claim please return to the service provider or automotive parts store where you originally purchased the products.
- If you are purchasing KYB products on the internet please ask about their warranty claim procedure before purchasing.
- The KYB Limited Lifetime warranty covers the product against manufacturing defects. Just like tires, shocks and struts are products that normally wear over time and miles driven. The KYB Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
- KYB shocks and struts are designed to operate within the new vehicle manufacturer’s design. Installing KYB products on a vehicle that has been modified or installing KYB products on an application not cataloged by KYB will void the warranty.
